“Dr Ashley is a very professional doctor. I appreciate the way she spoke with me… one on one and answered all my questions. She didn’t side step nor were her answers vague. She is quite succinct in her manner and profession. I was comfortable and at ease. She is a 10 out of 10!! I would highly recommend her!” - Stanley M.

FAQs

What should I bring with me to my exam?

Please bring ALL glasses that you wear, as well as any contact lens information for your current lenses. This may include the boxes, or the last contact lens prescription that you were issued by your prior eye doctor.

If I wear contact lenses, should I wear them to the exam?

Yes! Please come wearing your contact lenses and bring all contact lens information.

If my child is under 18, does a parent/guardian have to be present at the exam?

Yes. If a patient is a minor, they must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

At what age do you start seeing kids?

We start seeing kids at 5 years old.  Early eye exams are essential to ensure normal visual development and confirm there are no vision problems that might affect academic performance at school.

Do you offer affordable glasses?

Yes! We have value packages starting at $99* for single vision and $186* for bifocals including both lens and frame warrantied for 1 year (see optical warranty for full details).

Are contact lens prices competitive?

Yes! Due to rebates offered through our office (available on our website), our prices often beat most reputable online contact lens vendors. Don’t forget to use your vision plan benefits towards your contacts - we can submit for you! If you order contact lenses with us, we are often able to provide trial lenses to patients, when needed.

How much is shipping?

We provide free direct shipping for contact lens orders of 6 months or more. For less than a 6 month supply, shipping is $6.50 within the US.

Can I order contacts through your website?

Yes! Our lab, Abby, will direct ship your contacts, so you can order on our website at any time. Just let us know if you would like us to set up your account.

*Vision plan benefits may be used through website orders - just call us to let us know and we will process them .

Will my eyes be dilated at my examination?

Yes, plan to have your eyes dilated. This allows us to assess the ocular health of the eye, including checking for cataracts, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and much more. Dilation means the eyes will be sensitive to light and that near vision will be blurred for several hours after leaving the exam. Most patients may drive themselves; however, we always ask patients to assess their comfort levels and, if they are not comfortable, to please bring a driver. We provide disposable sunglasses for those who would like.

DID YOU KNOW: We now offer reversal drops!

We now offer reversal drops for a small fee ($12), as insurance does not cover these drop. If you would like reversal drops, please let your provider know. Ryzumvi drops have the potential to reverse dilation effects in 30-90 minutes, s patients can go back to work, pick up their kids, or go and run errands more comfortably and faster.
